The Challenge
A solution was needed to enable Powwi to integrate quickly with a Smart Supervision system and comply with Colombian regulations. The solution also had to support elastic growth in the information flows reported to the Superfinanciera, allowing it to scale in line with Powwi's future growth.
The Solution
A native Google Cloud solution is designed using Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud Run, Firebase Firestore, and Cloud Storage. It includes a frontend for monitoring and controlling complaint integration flows and web services for integration between platforms.
Project results
The goals for integrating complaint information with the Financial Superintendence were achieved through a solution that enables monitoring and control of information through web services.
Current regulations for financial institutions in Colombia require complaints to be reported to oversight bodies. In this case, the Colombian Financial Superintendency's implementation of the Smart Supervisión platform encouraged financial institutions such as Powwi to launch projects addressing this online data integration challenge.
