En el Banco de Bogotá innovamos para transformar el uso de los datos al servicio de nuestros clientes. La migración de 33 modelos a un Data Warehouse en Google cloud redujo en 85% los tiempos de procesamiento y habilitó una analítica más ágil y flexible. Este avance impulsa servicios más eficientes y seguros, reafirmando nuestro compromiso en brindar mejores decisiones y experiencias.

Challenge
The Data Warehouse on-premise del banco debía evolucionar para responder a nuevas demandas de negocio. Sus procesos eran extensos y limitaban la agilidad requerida para tomar decisiones oportunas. Además, su arquitectura de escalabilidad, concurrencia y seguridad estaba basada en un modelo convencional que hacía necesario avanzar hacia un enfoque más flexible y alineado con la analítica moderna.
Solution
Para modernizar el Data Warehouse del Banco de Bogotá, implementamos una solución serverless en Google Cloud con BigQuery como núcleo y herramientas como Data Fusion and Cloud Composer para los pipelines. Migramos modelos analíticos e integramos con Power BI, asegurada con Cloud IAM, logrando una
plataforma de analítica escalable y de alto rendimiento que agiliza la toma de decisiones.
Outcome
Se migraron con éxito 33 modelos analíticos a un Data Warehouse moderno en Google Cloud, reduciendo los tiempos de procesamiento en un 85%. Esto creó una plataforma robusta, escalable y flexible para la nueva estrategia de datos del banco, mejorando la explotación de información y las capacidades de autoservicio a través de herramientas como Power BI.
