Observatorio Digital MIVI: Vivienda y hábitat en El Salvador
Servinformación diseñó, implementó y desplegó el Observatorio de Vivienda y Hábitat, integrando geodatos, tableros analíticos y gestión normativa y documental, todo sobre infraestructura en Google cloud.
El Observatorio de Vivienda y Hábitat es una herramienta del Sistema de Vivienda de El Salvador que integra datos, mapas y normativas del Ministerio de Vivienda, el Fondo Nacional de Vivienda Popular y el Fondo Social para la Vivienda, con el fin de apoyar la toma de decisiones, reducir el déficit habitacional y modernizar el sector construcción.
El Observatorio del Sistema de Vivienda reúne en un solo portal la información del Fondo Nacional de Vivienda Popular, Fondo Social para la Vivienda y Ministerio de Vivienda, impulsando la modernización institucional y la transparencia. Con el apoyo de Servinformación y Google Cloud, hemos logrado grandes avances y proyectamos ampliar su alcance para ofrecer más datos y servicios a la ciudadanía.

Challenge
El reto fue integrar y publicar de forma estructurada y georreferenciada la información del Sistema de Vivienda de El Salvador (Ministerio de Vivienda, FONAVIPO y FSV), consolidando datos, normativas y servicios en una plataforma digital robusta, accesible y sostenible en la nube, que facilite el análisis y las decisiones en política habitacional y territorial.
Solution
Servinformación desarrolló una solución cloud-native en Google Cloud, utilizando App Engine para el despliegue, Firestore para configuración dinámica, BigQuery como repositorio analítico y Looker para visualización de datos en tiempo real. Se integraron Maps y Cloud Storage para mapas y normativa. La gestión se apoya en Cloud IAM, Logging, Monitoring y despliegues con Google SDK.
Outcome
El proyecto consolidó datos institucionales en BigQuery, desplegó tableros analíticos con Looker y habilitó un geovisor dinámico con múltiples capas temáticas. Esto facilitó el acceso público a información clave del Sistema de Vivienda y permitió la gestión eficiente de normativas y contenidos mediante Firestore y Cloud
Storage. Se integró eficientemente con servicios de mapas de ArcGIS.
